A life shaped
by nature & restoration.
Naoko Takemura
Raised by a Kampo medicine father
My father was a Kampo (herbal medicine) doctor — treating patients from across the country with his own view of the world and nature. From childhood, I learned that healing lives in nature — in roadside plants, in forest bark, in the invisible energy of the living world.
The discipline of a competitor
I competed as a track and field sprinter, racing hundredths of seconds. The mental fortitude forged in those years — focus, commitment, the refusal to stop — runs through everything I do today.
Learning to listen through touch
I devoted years to equestrian competition — caring for horses daily, learning to communicate with them, and immersing myself in their world. The sensitivity developed through a horse's reins became my ability to feel the subtlest changes in the human body.
One precise touch. Limitless reach.
As a licensed acupuncturist (national qualification), I trained until a paulownia board felt like soft tofu beneath my touch. I felt it — that moment when precision becomes something else entirely. My goal: to approach the root cause with the single most precise touch possible. And then, in the last few years, the final pieces arrived. Acu Soma Elara — a method I created myself — and Synergy Conditioning. Everything fell into place.
Acu Soma Elara — the only one of its kind
What I offer, I believe no one else in the world can. A practice built from a lifetime — to make smiles bloom, one person at a time, across the world.
